Our incredible weekend in San
Diego. What did we do? Ate taco surf, slept, ran, read, laughed, talked without being interrupted, ate more taco surf, watched movies, laughed, slept, ran, ate Kono's breakfast on the pier, talked, and more of the same for four days! PERFECTION!
I loved going to the grocery store to buy a few things, just what we need. Much better than the massive cart I always end up filling up at home. Taking care of each other is cake. I'm so looking forward to our life slowing down, in like fifteen years.
The view of the Pacific Ocean is so beautiful from the balcony. We spent a good amount of time out there in the sun, reading and talking, and listening to the waves.
"Hey, you two, Look up here!"
We loved riding bikes around the boardwalk, people watching, wave watching, and just relaxing. I love to sit up so high on a cruiser, I feel like such a delivery girl. Rrrringgg rrringgg.
We can't thank our family enough for hooking us up with babysitting for our children, and of course Sally and her parents for letting us stay in their beautiful place.
We know how lucky we were! Thank you! We were able to spend some much needed alone time together in one of our favorite places. What a dream!
