Jay, in a race, because it's always a race.
Jay, winning the race.  She can't help it, she is just fast.
Fast hiker, fast skiier, fast biker.
I love feeding off of her energy and envy her ability to always go all out!

Dad finessing the mountain.  He's a beautiful skier!
Dad
Kim has Dad's finesse.  Her turns are beautiful!
One, two, three, go...

Smiles all the way down!
It wouldn't be early season without some bush whacking at the end!
Another great family ski day.

Happy Thanksgiving from Beautiful Sundance

Thanksgiving at Sundance

Wendy, Rob, Greta, August, Ingrid & Olive

Ingrid and Tatum
Robert's Angels
Greta & Sage

Rob kept trying to get a cool shot of Sage from below.  Every time he'd hold his camera near the floor, Sage would crouch down.  She must have thought that was the only way she'd be in the photo.   We kept telling her to stand still.  Why would a five year old want to do that?  I also have to comment on her skinny cargo pants- too cute!  We love her.

I love this corner.  I love the colors of the stone on the wall, and the rustic floor.  Every time I go to Sundance, I want to take some furniture, flooring and some stone walls with me.  I love it all!

Beautiful Olive!
Seth- I have to say he was worried for a minute that he was going to have to dance, because you know, Sun...dance.  I love his big hazel eyes.  He reminds me a lot of his cousin Max.
Great Friends!
Happy Thanksgiving

Best Mom

I love this picture of my sister and me.  Both of my sisters would have been there, but our family is so big we have to take turns on the boat.  But we feel her.

This was in Flaming Gorge last summer.  Ahhh, total relaxation.

The funny thing is what a great parenting moment this is.  Kids are in the background on the tube.  Rick was teasing me that they had their thumbs pointed down, meaning slow down, or their hands across their necks, meaning "cut it, we're done."  And all the while I'm just thrilled that I get to lay on my stomach for a few minutes getting the backs of my thighs tan and pretending I'm a kid again.  Good times!

Halloween Two Times

Halloween two times because I never printed or posted pictures from last year.  Rick's company goes all out for Halloween.  They pretty much shut down to decorate.  Last year it took two hours to get through all three buildings.  It's such a cool thing they do for their employee's families.  My kids look forward to it every year.

Tatum and Sage weren't sure if this was a prop or a person.

Sage was thrilled to meet "the real Tinkerbell."

One department had a swing the children used to cross over "the river."

Last year the actors from California were Smurfs. In previous years they've been the Seven Dwarfs, the little wrestlers from Nacho Libre, and the Oompa Loompa's.  They are always part of the executive team's theme.

We watched a tribute to Michael Jackson and Thriller.  Great dancers!

Elle and Tatum
That night we went to Pogue's for chili and trick or treating on the trailer.    So fun.  Whitney always goes all out and throws the best parties!  We had a great time.

My "costume" was very last minute.  The thing I want to remember is that it was Rick's idea and he said in a serious voice, "do you want me to do your makeup?"

Halloween 2010
Rick went to his parents house and dug out his old scout uniform for his Hell-o-ween night ride, and his cyclocross race. He wore his neckerchief, sash and all.  His original pants were a little too tight to race in, so he splurged on a new pair of green shorts.  Everything else 'fit so nicely I said he could keep it.'  We were cracking up, he always makes me laugh.  Thanks Babe, for letting me take your picture even though you hate it!

This year Sage wanted to be a purple crayon.

Tatum was the cutest green M&M for school trick or treating.  Her costume had a little motor on it that blew air into it to make it puffy.  Her friends loved it.  I feel so bad I didn't get a picture of her in it!
On Halloween night, the downpour of rain ruined that idea and she went with the Ladybug so she could stay warm.  My Mom actually made this costume for Jaynann when she was little.  So cute.

The purple crayon (Sage), ninja warrior (Seth), and Ladybug(Tatum) ready to start trick or treating.

Ahh... the candy sort.  I loved this part of Halloween.  I have great memories of trading candy with Kim, John, Jay, and Daniel in California.
