What is it about Mom and Dad's bed? Growing up my siblings and I would argue about whose turn it was to sleep with Mom when Dad was out of town. We would often all get on their bed on Sunday afternoons and talk and laugh together. I think my parents thought we'd outgrow it. We were still gathering there when Kim got married. If you know her husband, you know he had no problem going with the flow and just jumped on the bed with the rest of us.
Last week I called my Mom at 10 am desperate for a nap after a long night with Sage. She said she'd be home and could watch her for a little while. So off I go to get warm and cozy in her bed and what do I see? My little (21 year old) brother was already napping there. There is just something about Mom's bed.

I almost went out and bought some chicken wire to put around our bed to keep the kids out but that picture is too cool.
that bed was a waterbed, right?

You ought to find the pic of us all spooning in the water bed. Has he seen that? It would be funny to see Rick's reaction, actually I would like to hear his deep laugh or hear his smart remark.
